My Future Bedroom

I would like to describe my future room. It is a medium size and it has cream walls and white ceiling. There are three pictures hanging on the wall. In the front of the door there is a gorgeous double size bed. Next to the bed there is a bedside table, on which is a beautiful cream lamp. Also next to the bed there is a nice brown dresser. In the front of the dresser there is a pretty closet. Next to the closet there is a fancy window, on which is a fabulous curtain. In the front of the window there is a smooth brown rug. Finally, I have in my bedroom in the corner a TV table, on it there is a TV with a DVD.

What I Did on Canada Day

What I Did on Canada Day


On Canada Day, there was a huge celebration at the River Park in Kamloops. I went there because I was going to perform. I didn’t think there was going to be so many people. When I went there I was shocked, because there were more than one hundred thousands people in the park. I put my luggage in the park and helped set up our display. Then I went to a fabulous stage in the center of the park to perform. It was good, but I expected more than good. After my performance I saw many different shows from many different countries on the stage. I enjoy that very much. I then walked around and looked at all the wonderful booths. They sold many things that were hand made. I also went down the river on a tube with my friends. It was amazing. Then I went to the Saudi Arabian booth, and I met my writing instructor Mr. Bruce Thomson and his wife. Finally, that night I watched the fireworks. It was along day, but a lot of fun.

An Arabic Idiom


I would like to write about an Arabic idiom that it doesn’t exist in English language. It’s called “bab alnjar mkloa”. That means a Carpenter door is often broken. For example, I’m a computer engineer, but often my computer doesn’t work well. Another example, if you’re a mechanic. You don’t have time to fix your car. It’s often doesn’t work well. Finally, there are many Arabic idioms. It doesn’t exist in English language.

My tripe to Lac La Jeune Lake

Last Wednesday, I went camping at an amazing lake. It's called Lac La Jeune Lake camp site with my wife and my host family. I really enjoy it there. It had many camping spots. In our spot we put two trailers and two cars. Our spot had a fire pit and many trees and toilets. When we arrived there, we set the trailer up and I put the boat in the lake. After that we ate lunch. Then we went fishing and we caught six fish the first day and around seventeen fish over three days. After we finished fishing, we played cards. We stayed there until Friday afternoon. I really didn’t want to return back home because it was a lot of fun. If you want to go camping I suggest going to this lake. It is an amazing lake and not far from Kamloops.

The best thing I learned form my parents

I think the best thing I learned form my father is how I can drive a car correctly and carefully. First of all, when he drove the car, he often tries to explain what he is going to do. Secondly, he gave me a book, that’s explaining the signs in the streets. Thirdly, when we passed a sign, he asks me what the sign mean is. Last but not least, he took me off road many times to training me driving. Finally, he trusts my driving and starts to train me in the streets. After that I have been driving for eight years.

The Important Personal Qualities in a Foreign Country

In my opinion, the most important personal qualities for living in a foreign country is to have an open mind and be honest. First of all, if a person stresses with his customs, he doesn’t want to change some of his routines or habits. He could face a lot of trouble. For example, the women in our home, when they go out in public must be completely covered. Persons in a foreign country may feel uncomfortable around thim. Secondly, you should be honest with people. After that, they will trust you and you will feel like you are in your home. I think these are the most important personal qualities that will change your life and allow you to be in your comfort zone.

Learning a foreign language

Learning a foreign language is difficult to learn in your native country. I will give you some steps on how you can learn a foreign language quickly. First, you should set aside a period of time each day to study, because you need to practice and memorize many things. The more you practice the faster you will learn the language. That means listening, reading, writing, speaking, and studying. Secondly, you should listen to all kinds of songs that you like, and also read the lyrics what you are listening to.Then you will improve your listing, reading and vocabulary. Thirdly, try to speak the language as much as you can. Fourthly, always keep a small notebook with you, when you learn new words write them down. Try to read them every day to improve your vocabulary. Finally, enjoy the language and do not worry if you do not understand some words, or you can’t speak it very will. You will get the language in your brain after awhile. I think these are the best steps to learn a foreign language.

My favorite foods are pizza and pasta for different reasons. I love pizza because it has many different kinds of vegetables, pizza sauce, cheese, and sometimes meat or chicken. Theses items make it very tasty. I love pasta because it’s easy to make and it doesn’t take that much time to cook. Also I love it because it comes in many shapes and forms like spaghetti, fettuccini, lasagna noodles, tortellini, and macaroni. Pasta also consists of a large variety of different sauces like tomato and alfredo.

Differences Between Our Households

I think the big different between the life in Canada and the life in Saud Arabia is the roles within the household. In Saud Arabia men rarely cook, but in Canada they share the cooking. Also in Canada most households don’t have house keepers; but in Saud Arabia a lot of houses do have house keepers. The garden work in Canada usually is done by the men. But in Saud Arabia, usually every house has some workers or a company to do it. Also, the women can’t drive so many households have a driver but in Canada women are able to drive.

I think the most important thing is the location of the house. I prefer it on a mountain with nice views and close to everything. For example, groceries stores, malls, bus stations, and gas stations. The second thing is my neighbors. I should know my neighbors before I buy or build the house. Also I should find where the nearest school is. The third thing is I should find a good space to build it, because I want to build a big garden, swimming pool, and a garage.

She doesn’t know how to ride a bicycle, so she fell down many times. Also in 8th of April I went to a rodeo near Savanna village. It was amazing.
